Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary.
Voleeo is a desktop app that runs on your own computer. Your requests, workspaces, and secrets stay on your machine, so we can't see them. The app only reaches our servers for two narrow things: checking for updates and verifying a commercial license key. There are no accounts and no usage tracking.

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Voleeo desktop application (the "App"). It is written for the App; the marketing website at Voleeo.com is a static site that uses no analytics or tracking cookies and self-hosts its fonts.

1. What stays on your device

Voleeo stores your work locally, on your computer's file system. That includes your workspaces, folders, requests, saved responses, environments, variables, and any secrets or credentials you enter. This data is never uploaded to us, and we have no way to access it. If you delete the App's data or uninstall it, that information is gone from your device.

2. The requests you send

When you fire an HTTP, gRPC, WebSocket, or GraphQL request, it goes directly from your machine to whatever server you point it at. Voleeo is not a proxy: we do not route, intercept, store, or log the requests you make or the responses you receive.

3. The only connections Voleeo makes to us

Aside from the requests you initiate, the App contacts our infrastructure in just two cases:

4. No accounts, no usage tracking

Voleeo has no sign-up and no login. We do not embed analytics or advertising SDKs, and the App does not send behavioral, usage, or feature-engagement data, crash dumps, or device fingerprints. We do not build a profile of how you use the App.

5. Git sync and other services you connect

Voleeo can sync your workspace to a Git remote you choose (such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or your own server). When you do this, your data travels between your machine and that provider, not through us, and is handled under that provider's terms and privacy policy. The same applies to any third-party API or MCP endpoint you connect to. You control which services Voleeo talks to.

6. What we actually process, and for how long

Because the App is local-first, the only information that reaches us is the technical request data from update checks and the license-key data described in Section 3. Our servers may retain routine logs for a short period for security, debugging, and operational purposes, and license records for as long as a license is in effect. We do not sell any of this information.

7. Your choices and rights

Since we hold little to no personal information about you, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete on request. You can stop update checks by disabling automatic updates or running the App offline, and you control your local data directly. If you have a question or a request relating to your information, contact us at the address below and we will respond.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we make a material change, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.

9. Who we are & how to reach us

Voleeo is operated by Oleksandr Barchuk. For any privacy question or request, email support@voleeo.com.

By using Voleeo, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and accept how your information is handled as described above.
